COVID-19 update for AGR customers
The Western Australian Government announced yesterday that the Perth metropolitan, Peel and Southwest regions will be in a 5-day lockdown from 6pm Sunday 31 January 2021 until 6pm Friday 5 February 2021.
AGR’s priority is the safety of our employees, contractors, customers and the community.
Following the above announcement, we would like to confirm:
- Our business continues to operate while adhering to the health advice and controls recommended to manage the potential risks of COVID-19 to both people and the business.
- There is no disruption to the production or supply of sodium cyanide to our customers. AGR’s plants are able to be safety operated with a reduced workforce.
- With mining classified as an essential service by the WA government, we do not foresee any change in our ability to supply sodium cyanide to our customers during the lockdown period.
